Within the scope of the “One Step to Water, a Door to Life” social responsibility project carried out by the Marine and Aquatic Sciences Application and Research Center (DENAM), a seminar was held on 5 December 2025 with the students and instructors of the Ankara Branch of the Foundation for the Education and Protection of Children with Intellectual Disabilities (ZİÇEV). The seminar took place at Gazi University, Faculty of Engineering, 15 July Martyr Mustafa Avcı Academy Hall.

The program included presentations on diagnostic groups and theoretical approaches in special education; individual and group education practices at ZİÇEV; psychosocial processes in families of children with disabilities; and ZİÇEV’s institutional introduction and social participation practices. A large number of our students and academic staff attended the seminar.
