Marine and Aquatic Sciences Application and Research Center was established by Gazi University Regulation published in the Official Gazette No. 27760 and came into effect on November 15, 2010.
Since 2010, the center has been conducting studies to discover the physical, chemical, and biological structure of existing wetland and marine environments, identify sensitive areas, prepare databases, and model the interactions between coastal structures and the environment.
From 2010 to the present, various application and research activities have been carried out in surface water bodies under protocols established with local governments, public institutions, the private sector, and non-governmental organizations.
