The research students of our Marine and Aquatic Sciences Application and Research Center, accompanied by the Center Director Prof. Dr. Lale Balas, Deputy Director Prof. Dr. Asu İnan, Advisory Board Member Prof. Dr. Can Elmar Balas, and Research Assistant Eray Eser, carried out a technical visit on 4 December 2025 to the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, General Directorate of Infrastructure Investments, Department of Technical Research and Quality Management (OSTİM, Ankara), in accordance with the academic cooperation protocol between the two institutions.
During the visit, Department Head Dr. Olcay Eğriboyun and Senior Civil Engineer Şükrü Emrah Arıkan provided detailed information to our students about ongoing coastal projects. The students also observed physical model experiments available in the laboratory, and a detailed presentation was delivered.
