Within the scope of the “Technical Assistance Project for the Preparation of River Basin Management Plans in 6 Basins,” funded by the European Union and Türkiye under the IPA II period of the EU Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance, Activity 5.7 (Modeling Workshop) was held on 30–31 January 2025 at the Holiday Inn Hotel (Ankara).

On behalf of Gazi University’s Marine and Aquatic Sciences Application and Research Center (DENAM), which is carrying out hydrodynamic and water quality modeling studies in coastal waters under the project, the Center Director Prof. Dr. Lale Balas and Advisory Board Member Assist. Prof. Dr. Kaan Cebe attended the workshop. A presentation titled “Introduction to Coastal Modeling: Methodology, Calibration and Results” was delivered by Dr. Cebe.
