The Kaş Environmental Issues Panel was held on February 10-11, 2024, with the participation of Prof. Dr. Lale BALAS, the Director of the Marine and Aquatic Sciences Application and Research Center (DENAM). During the Kaş Environmental and Cultural Association’s Environmental Issues Panel held in Kaş on February 10-11, environmental and planning issues, as well as developments related to the divided road project, were discussed. On the second day of the event, February 11, the first session focused on marine pollution in Kaş. The speakers in this section included:

- Prof. Dr. Lale Balas, Director of Gazi University's Marine and Aquatic Sciences Application and Research Center (Evaluation of Pollutant Transport Events in Kaş Bay),

- Dr. Kağan Cebe, Lecturer at the Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, 19 Mayıs University (Assessment of Water Quality in Kaş Bay),

- Ebru Çelik, Marine Project Manager at the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) (Changes in Kaş Sea, Biodiversity Conservation and Monitoring Activities in Kaş-Kekova Marine Protected Area),

- Mert Gökalp (METU Faculty of Engineering and Ankara University Marine Biotechnology),

- Yusuf Ziya Sülekoğlu, President of the Kaş Underwater Association,

- Murat Draman, Diving Instructor and Underwater Photographer.
